Traveling to Mexico

You will need a passport. You can not get back to the United States without it. It usually takes six weeks to obtain a passport, but the U.S. State Department also offers an expedited service.

Make your arrangements to fly into Mexico City, ideally arriving by mid-day. This will allow time to get the rest of the way to Tepoztlan.

Getting to Tepoztlán

We are located about 1.5 hours south of Mexico City, in the town of Tepoztlan, state of Morelos.

For those comfortable with foreign travel there is a non-stop luxury bus (about $11 USD) directly from the International Arrivals, at the Mexico City Airport, going to Cuernavaca, where we would meet you.

Otherwise we can arrange to have you met at the terminal or you can take a taxi for around $100 USD.

Please note that Mexico in general, and Tepoztlán in particular, has much ambient noise, consisting mostly of music, church bells, fireworks, roosters and barking dogs. Many people enjoy this part of the culture.
Ear muffs can be provided should there be a lot of sound ... noise levels are quite variable.
