Katherine came to ibogaine therapy following a deep inner calling sparked by reading 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl by Daniel Pinchbeck. The book opened her to the possibility that ibogaine could help her break free from long-standing emotional “cages” and address unresolved issues, particularly those rooted in her relationship with her father.

During her experience, Katherine became aware of how her analytical mind initially resisted surrendering to the journey. Ibogaine revealed this resistance as a familiar pattern, a sense of being “locked inside a fortress.” Rather than pushing past it, she was able to see this dynamic clearly and with compassion.

As the journey unfolded, Katherine gained tools to work skillfully with her ego. This led to a profound shift: forgiveness and compassion for her father, and the release of an emotional burden she had carried for years. From this clearing emerged a deep realization of “the essence of who I am” and a newfound capacity for self-love.

Ibogaine also brought significant physical healing. Katherine experienced relief from long-restricted breathing and improvement in a chronic shoulder injury, which she understood as a place where emotional tension had been stored. These changes reinforced the connection between emotional and physical healing.

Afterward, Katherine described feeling as though a veil had been lifted. Anxiety and constant worry diminished, replaced by clarity, presence, and the ability to live in the moment simply breathing and seeing what is directly in front of her.

She emphasizes the importance of receiving ibogaine in a safe, natural environment with caring and attentive facilitators. Katherine expresses deep gratitude for the experience, describing it as a true gift that continues to support her sense of peace and presence in daily life.
